SYNOPSIS:

The Lone Ranger is a classic American Western television series that aired from 1949 to 1957. It was based on a popular radio show of the same name and is set in the American Old West. The series follows the adventures of a masked former Texas Ranger, known only as the Lone Ranger, and his Native American companion, Tonto, as they travel the frontier fighting crime and injustice.

The Lone Ranger, whose real name is John Reid, is the sole survivor of an ambush on a group of Texas Rangers by outlaws led by the villainous Butch Cavendish. Left for dead, Reid is found and nursed back to health by Tonto, a Native American who becomes his loyal friend and ally. To conceal his identity and symbolize his mission to bring justice, Reid dons a mask made from his brother's vest.

Together, the duo travels the Wild West, helping settlers, ranchers, and townsfolk while upholding the law. The Lone Ranger avoids killing whenever possible, instead using his intelligence, strategy, and trademark silver bullets as a symbol of justice and value for life.
