SYNOPSIS:

Barefoot is a romantic dramedy about Jay Wheeler, the black sheep of a wealthy family, who is trying to get his life back on track. While working as a janitor in a psychiatric hospital, he meets Daisy Kensington, a sheltered woman who has been isolated her entire life. Daisy has lived in the hospital since childhood, and despite her naivety, she has a unique, refreshing perspective on life. Jay impulsively decides to bring Daisy to his brother's wedding to pretend she is his girlfriend, thinking it will impress his family. Along the way, Jay begins to realize that Daisy's innocence and honesty are slowly changing him, and the two form an unexpected bond.
